VISUALIZATION – ZÜRICH, SWITZERLAND
Published in Weltwoche 2004
Mapping Switzerland is a study performed by Hosoya Schaefer for the weekly political magazine Weltwoche. In eight illustrations Switzerland is analysed in many different ways in an attempt of reinterpreting its stereotypical image.
Mapping Switzerland is also an exhibition curated by Pius Freiburghaus and organized by the Perforum at the Kulturzentrum Seedamm. It looks at maps, art and myths. It attempts to find new ways of describing the identity of Switzerland ranging from the scientific to the artistic.
