Exhibition Station Area St. Moritz

The Rhaetian Railway Company in Switzerland announced the results of the test planning it commissioned for the area of the St. Moritz railroad station. Five international teams have been selected from a large group of applicants to prepare proposals for the development of the station which is part of the UNESCO World Heritage site “Rhaetian Railway in the Albula/Bernina Landscapes”. Hosoya Schaefer Architects, Zürich and von Gerkan Marg Partner, Hamburg have been selected to continue work on one portion each with the aim to define a final project as the basis for the future zoning plan. Hosoya Schaefer prepared their study project in collaboration with IBV Hüsler AG, Zürich, Müller Illien Landscape Architects, Zürich and Daniel Peter, St. Moritz. After the Airport St. Moritz, this is the second large scale project of Hosoya Schaefer in the Engadin valley.
