AnAn is a new Japanese noodle bar designed for Autostadt, Germany, the theme park and communications platform of the Volkswagen Group. Hosoya Schaefer won the design competition held by Autostadt GmbH based on the theme of contemporary Tokyo in 2005 and completed the project in 2007. The task was to build a Japanese noodle bar that represents on a small area a piece of contemporary Tokyo.

The custom furniture has been developed in collaboration with Quinze & Milan's designer Alain Gilles. An earlier concept has been developed with Jan Melis.

The furniture aims at being as simple and comfortable as possible. The furniture is executed in QM FOAM (tm) and powder coated steel tubes.

Isomo based furniture has been designed as an alternative for the exterior furniture that is currently executed in Corian.
